And I thought Kaleb was ugly.....

Kaleb is my father-in-law's dog. He is a German Wire-haired Terrier. He is a great bird dog, and mouser, too, but not the most handsome dog ever. He looks like a million bucks next to this one. Click at your own risk, this pooch looks like the Crypt Keeper.

The next time my kids ask for a dog for Christmas, I'm showing them that......ugh! Maybe not, I don't want to have to field the nightmares that are bound to happen for YEARS to come :o).

Just another example of breeders messing with nature and one of the "mistakes" getting away. Let's hope they don't try to clone him. Bless his heart.

Enjoy your blog almost everyday, thanks for the entertainment and your service. How about a picture of Kaleb if you get a chance. BTW, have you had any comments on your tag line..."Defending freedom...a half inch at a time"? Has anyone gotten the riddle? Keep safe.

You are welcome. Thank you for being a loyal reader.

About the "Defending Freedom, Half an Inch at a Time"...most people who understand what the Ma Deuce is get it...but for the un-initiated, they usually ask.

I looked at it for about half a minute before I got it for the first time, then came an ear to ear grin that lasted most of the day. Love it!

Thanks again and stay safe,

It's true -- Kaleb is a looker compared to this canine.

Speaking of canines, not too long before Beau and Ginger become MDG Sis' doggies! :)

Oh My God!

That dog looks just like my ex-mother-in-law! I hope the dog has a better attitude.

As far as your tag line goes. I've seen footage of what a 50 cal sniper rifle can do to the muj in Afganistan from about a mile away (in the hands of a well trainded U.S. sniper... of course!). I think if that thing missed you by four inches, it would still rip the skin from your body. It just makes me so proud to be an American.

Thanks for your service MDG!

Oh! I'll try to find the footage I refered to above and send you the link. I have the file but It's probably too large to send via email.

Take care.

Sorry. The footage I spoke of earlier is probably someone plinking rock chucks with a scoped 306.

But it's still interesting to watch.

And that ugly dog REALLY does look like my ex-mother-in-law.
