Another Prayer Request....

My company had another casualty yesterday. Again, I am not going to mention a name, but he lost both legs from an IED attack. Bastards. He was a young, motivated kid, who showed a lot of promise to be a good soldier. Again I ask that you all pray for his healing, for comfort for him, and for his family.

MDG....OUT.

Sorry to hear that.

I've got a Question no1 really seems to be able to answer.
Reading books about previous wars or talking to vets they all have this remembrance of receiving packages from home filled with items they requested, items they could use in the field or during R&R.

What sort of items could be popular among US forces in Iraq ?
Perhaps 'Operation Truth' could organise a collection of items for troops in theatres of combat.

Hey Brother Gunner,

Keep the faith, man. We'll keep praying for the fallen and the wounded.

You're doing a GREAT thing, and I want to sit down over a few (dozen) beers and hash it out when you get back!

Semper Fi, keep your vest on, stay safe.

Requisition for extra prayers accepted and authorized. My family and I are keeping all of you in our daily prayers and add individuals as we learn of them. (Psalm 91). God's speed to you and your troops.

I know how much you feel for your buddies, and this must be very hard. I am deeply sorrowed to hear the news. We will keep him, his family, and the rest of your unit in our prayers. Even though the battles are tough, I trust you will see more victorious outcomes as a result of your efforts.

Our love to you, Little Mazza

I am so very sorry. Another hero pays the price for our freedom. If there is anything that he or his family needs, please post. I'd be happy to help out.

My prayers are with you all.

I am proud of all of you for hanging in there, no matter what. I pray for each and everyone, where ever you may be. I am deeply sorry for any one lost or wounded. I hope this is a little encouraging. Everyone I know is for you and what your doing.
Your country is behind you, really//
