I hate Live8 and I'm not really happy with the G8 thing on Africa.
I wonder how our ancestors were ever able to crawl out of the shthole they were in.
Secondly, pumping in more taxmoney and scrubbing off loans isnt taking away the problem of lousy goverment and poverty in African goverments.
Democracy, a sound trade economy and stopping corruption within the goverment is the way to go.
Scrubbing off those deficits is just a temporary measure.
But then again, I'm nobody. Sure, I dont donate money around...except to vets.
They day that celebrities start donating their entire gains will be the day that I'll attempt to enlarge my donationscope, otherwise scr*w them.
PS: Keep up doing the good job in Iraq fellas. In a year or 2-4 we might pop along...first we've got some elections to win from them social democrats and other European coward-politicians.

I'm nobody either, but I like giving my money away to those I like or those in need, but only when I get to choose the recipients. I can't stand the thought of the govt. throwing my tax $s down an African s**t hole. The political and social problems of that blighted continent require fixing first, and that means time and teaching, not bribery.
