I feel so sorry for you! I know how frustrating that is.
My tip would help but I also don't use it! Go figure...
Type the blog in notepad first and save... then cut and paste to the blog editor... :-)
Hope you still have the basics in your head?
Get a "SanDisk Cruzer 1GB". My Dad has one. It's a USB memory device that you can put on a key-chain (It costs about $100). Plug that little sucker into any computer that has a USB port. Then make a basic .txt file on it and start writing. Hit the "Ctrl+S" keyboard combo often and you wouldn't lose 1600 words, Sir!

Ma Deuce Gunner, I just came to your blog for the first time and I like it. I am not saying that so that I can continue on and insult you.
When I first read the anon post above I thought, "there's not much I like less than an unsolicited sermon from a holier than thou type". Now I've got to add,"who you have to live with".
What is that genius thinking? If I were going out on patrols The last thing I would do is start calling into question the level of faith of those you're rolling with.
Hey Anon, you obviously think that MDG is spiritually poorer than you, have obvious pride in your righteousness and are persecuting MDG; you wicked thing.
MDG, I livein sunny San Diego and we have militant vagrants(MV's) downtown.
I used to give change and such to them but never do anymore. Here are a couple of experinces I've had or heard of.
Me: Sorry man, I'm out of change.
MV: Don't you have any cash?
MV: Can you give me some money? I'm hungry?(we're outside a liquor store)
Me: I'll go in and get you a sandwich and a gatorade, you want roast beef or turkey?
MV: no man, just give me some money, I'm gonna eat later.
Me: that's okay, It'll keep.
MV: F-you man!
At a sidewalk cafe We had an deal just like yours and the guy goes to another table where the folks offer to buy him an app to go. MV responds that since it's a nice place why don' they just give him ten bucks and he'll get out of their way. He had class.

Well, Anonymous 9:46, You and I both know why I feel that that comment is disrespectful. We talked about it the night you came in from the night patrol, and I asked you to not refer to me as "Deuce", for I do not believe that is the way an enlisted soldier should address an NCO.
Like I said, Debate is NOT shunned.

Great site! You are a good novelist. Being in Iraq as well, I do find your accounts to be quite comical if not a bit over the top. But to each his own, right? However I do find cause to comment on your supposed good Christian morals. In a recent posting you wrote:

Why do people always get so hot under the collar when a blogger or for that matter a forum administrator deletes something that does not fit the SITE OWNERS rules? Free speech is only for the corner of the street or the newspaper letter dept... In all other instances we are guests and should behave as guests... i.e. Respect the site owner and his/her decisions.
If you are known by the site owner you should show even more respect, cyberspace is not the place to take a private feud... it could be construed as harrasment... wich in most contries is a crimminal offence... grow up and face the man eye to eye and if he is a superior at attention!

Deuce i too would like to know why you feel so threatened by Ten Twenty Five Driver's comments. He is showing his point of view . That is all. Isn't this a place where people can come to give constructive critisim about one another. I think that he is just trying to help you become a better person that is all and if you feel so threatened then why did you start this blog in the first place. That happens to me all the time and I don't have wireless! It is especially bad during a storm. But in the summer, the power company cuts back and that will kill me. I have been making myself save more often, lol.
1025 driver you will not disrespect duece again! It will not be tollerated. This is your last warning. If you do you will be hanged and then burned, not litterally by the UCMJ of course. 1025 Driver you are an embarressment to team alfa and the scout platoon. Your clear lack of respect for NCO's could get somebody killed. To correct this you need to apologize to deuce on this blog site and be at deuce's door at 0530 tommarrow in your PT gear. Deuce im really interested on how you can protect the freedom of the american people half an inch at a time so well when you have probabaly slept most of the time that you have been in Iraq. Now im not saying that you don't work but i was also wondering if you are still proficent at your army tasks. Such as PT for example. I know that your thumbs are quite impressive from all the time that you have spent playing Halo and if this war was more like a game im sure you would have this level memorised.
It’s not about the rank or making you look good. What happened to doing the mission and coming back and glad everybody made it back to see one more day. Brother in arms is what both of you are, should look at meaning. Is this the way 1025 driver and deuce are going to spend the rest of there deployment fighting like little girls. Deuce you wanting to pull a pistol on a homeless person, then come to Iraq were most of the people are homeless. Why not point that Ma Deuce that you are so proud off and finish the job. Don’t most of the Iraq people look like shady characters? So grow up and do the job that needs to be done. So shut your yaps and get to work, get the job done and come home safely.
Life is about learning how to agree to disagree. MDG--your comments about the homeless man make me sick; apparently you have some growing up to do. 1025--this is MDG's site and by posting in this forum, you too show your immaturity.
