A Few Links...
I read, from the Mudville Gazette's Open Post, an Op-Ed from the LA Times, of all places. It was titled Peace is not the answer. It's an excellent piece.
Also, I found a translated version of the new Iraqi Constitution, found here It really is nice to see a document, something concrete.
Finally, I watched "An Unfinished Life", with Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, and Jennifer Lopez. It's a good movie, go see it.
Sorry not more right now, been busy prepping for the elections.

Article (2):
1st - Islam is the official religion of the state and is a basic source of legislation:
(a) No law can be passed that contradicts the undisputed rules of Islam.
(b) No law can be passed that contradicts the principles of democracy.
(c) No law can be passed that contradicts the rights and basic freedoms outlined in this constitution
(a) and (b) may contradict each other at times and that's not good.
